Introduction

The Bolton Award is multi-layered employability award created by the University of Bolton and is designed to help increase your labour market awareness and understanding. The Award has built in self-reflection and learning modules that help you to develop the employability skills that are required to successfully secure and retain graduate level employment opportunities.

The award is split into three tiers, and is designed to be flexible and can be started at any point during the academic year, with how far you progress into the award being entirely up to you. The purpose of the award is to help you not only build crucial employability skills, but to enable you to clearly point to specific activities and experiences you have gained throughout your time at university and articulate them in a CV, Cover Letter and Interview, all the while growing your industry knowledge and getting support and intervention from the careers and employability team.
