Introduction

The University of Bolton’s approach to Prevent is to safeguard the safety and wellbeing of its community from being drawn into radicalisation and terrorism. This is also balanced with the continued commitment towards protecting academic freedom and speech and other key legislation. To complement the existing resources and guidance available at the University, this section on LEAP Online aims to provide an overview of the essential information to support students in their understanding of their safeguarding role.
